So without going into too much detail, Bob heard about this book The Slow Cooker Revolution . Recipes born from a test kitchen of 30 crockpots doing trial and error. We somehow got a crockpot for our wedding 5 years ago and had only used it once until a couple weeks ago. It's been nice trying new things and especially having leftovers for Ayla.

Smartest Baby Ever...
OK I'm biased, but I wanted to share this video because Alya rarely performs "onDemand" (as my girlfriend Susan always says about our kids, "They'll make liars out of you").
So when Ayla started rattling off her numbers, I quickly grabbed my phone to capture both English AND Spanish 1-10. It's a dark video, but you'll get the gist... and come to the same conclusion ~ smartest 20 month old EVER! Indulge me ;-)

The Farmer's Market is back!!
Well, it actually never left because the farmer's market is year-round, rain or shine. However WE had been missing a lot of Sundays because of those darn 10AM Steeler Games. Anyway, we've returned to our routine of walking down ever since the Steelers lost to the Broncos :-/
This week we didn't need as much grocery supply because our kitchen has been stocked due to Bob's latest "Crockpot Adventures" (more on that later).
Whenever we aren't loading up on staples, Ayla really makes out. Daddy lets us shop at the hair-bow craft boutique, we indulge on treats like the Almond Croissant and even stopped to get balloon!
Ayla picked out her own "kitty" bow (shown below) and OF COURSE we had to stop and window shop at her favorite store that she's not allowed to go in... the doll shop.
Bob and I are now thinking we need to start buying her TRUCKS or TRAINS or SOMETHING other than "BABIES"! It's starting to be an unhealthy obsession... I'm just sayin
Oh and mommy got to splurge on some fresh flowers :-)

Around with Ayla
Baby crazy Ayla was almost impossible to rip away from this storefront window in downtown Campbell during this Sunday's Farmer's Market.
Died and went to Doll Heaven
She literally ran all the way home - if you watch the full minute, Ayla will reward you with a kiss!

Furry Fandom
Never a dull moment. Ran into furry fandom on our way back from skating at San Jose Downtown Ice. Not sure what they were up to, but I can't blame Ayla for being skeptical.
