All weekend Ayla didn't get a good night's sleep and was always just on the verge of a fever, so Monday Bob took her to the doctor who said she's got pneumonia! We caught it early enough, two days of antibiotics and she is definitely getting back to acting like herself again just with raspy breath and a cough.
Friday night she was so wiped she could barely eat dinner and in fact decided to nap through it (notice enough hair to pull together the tiniest pigtail! Can't wait to pierce those ears!)
Yep, I'd say she is feeling better. Little busy bee never stops, all 3 cuts were filmed within 5 minutes! This is her new favorite thing to do 2nd only to going up and down the stairs.
I love that she is determined and gets right back up and keeps going! The other day a swivel chair came out from under her (I normally don't coddle her, but I looked like it took her breath away) so I jumped over to her and she literally pushed away my out reached hand as she was getting back up to go after the chair again. Note to self: I am sure I will not appreciate how determined she is during her teenage years!
Anyway, Ayla is constantly on the move and into EVERYTHING. I worked from home today to stay with my sick baby and could not keep up with her AND work. Bob came home and said, "Talk about Family Circus, there's a Kari dotted line AND an Ayla dotted-line!" You know what's funny, I always hated that comic as a kid...
